Swiss-French collective, La Tène make music that lives in the cracks of drone, folk, experimental, electronic, and the ancient language of Occitan. Long, hypnotic pieces are built from traditional folk instrumentation, wild percussion, and subtle electronic embellishments. The result is a sound that feels as ancient and earthy as millennia-old artefacts, pulled from the soil. Performing as a 6-piece, the band features drums, percussions, Indian harmonium, electronics, guitar, bass, cabrette, and bagpipes, and is utterly transcending.
