Join us for an afternoon in conversation to celebrate the launch of the book, Hospitalfield, a place dedicated to the arts and ideas in the Scottish landscape, that has been published as part of the 34th edition of The Carlo Scarpa prize for Gardens, awarded to Hospitalfield.
The in conversation, at Customs Lane in Edinburgh will feature readings and talks from Kirsty Bell, Jade de Montserrat, Peter St John and Rehana Zaman, all of whom have contributed to the book.
Through discussion we will ask;-
How do we create hospitable, interesting, porous intuitions that suit artists to make new work now?
How can this urgent focus on the support of production, (and it is urgent), be part of the work of a cultural institution also committed to engaging and inspiring everyone else?
We hope you can join us.
