Active since 2003, Ryosuke Kiyasu is an internationally acclaimed snare drum soloist known for a minimalist, high-impact performance style centered on intense physicality and extreme dynamics. Redefining the snare drum as a headline solo instrument, his performance in Berlin in 2018 amassed over 23 million views on social media, drawing coverage from BBC News and VICE Magazine.
Kiyasu has performed across the globe at major international venues and festivals, including the Überschlag Festival in Germany, the Edinburgh Art Festival, and the Outsider Art Festival in Finland.
