About the Artist:
David Bertrand is a jazz flutist/multi-reedist & composer. A sideman for a constantly expanding community of artists, he has performed and recorded with notable artists including Ravi Coltrane, Stew Stewart and Antoine Drye at venues including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center (Millenium Stage), Joe’s Pub and the United Nations headquarters in
New York.

Breathing Space is the NYC based group David leads devoted to playing his original music. While exploring organic, personal intersections of modern jazz with the folkloric rhythms and
song forms of Brazil and David’s Trinidadian homeland, the music is inspired by lived experiences and anecdotes of Caribbean perspectives reflecting on universal themes of identity and community within the greater, ever-spinning zeitgeist.

Venue Info:

Pianodrome Bruntsfield is at The St.Oswald's Center at 41 Montpelier Park, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh EH10 4NB, just parallel to the main street and next to the primary school. It has an accessible entrance and an accessible toilet. Please get in touch if there is anything else you'd like to ask or tell us prior to your visit.

Concessions:
We do not check your right to a concession or name your price ticket. If you feel you can afford the full price please select this ticket. However, concessions prices are there to help anybody attend the show - if you need a lower cost ticket you are in the best position to determine that. No questions asked.

Accessibility:
