About the Artist:
Emerging from the delicate flickers of vintage film is Kohla; a velvet voiced femme fatale armed with a spell-binding talent for writing and producing cinematic, intimate love songs. Following the release of her debut album ‘Romance’ in 2023, Kohla received international critical acclaim from top tastemakers - including BBC 6music’s Tom Robinson, Earmark USA and Wonderland Magazine, and garnered herself an insatiably dedicated global Gen Zalpha fanbase (who affectionately label themselves as ‘The Kohla Cult’). A graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art, Kohla crafts a magical audio-visual world rich in glamour, lost love and nostalgia - sonically influenced by legacy and contemporary artists alike; the poignant, romantic songwriting of Lana Del Rey, Elton John and Nat King Cole, to the emotional, alternative sound-scaping of James Blake, Frank Ocean and Hans Zimmer. Kohla's performance at the Pianodrome will be an unique event to hear her new material performed within an intimate setting on piano.

Venue Info:

Pianodrome Bruntsfield is at The St.Oswald's Center at 41 Montpelier Park, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh EH10 4NB, just parallel to the main street and next to the primary school. It has an accessible entrance and an accessible toilet. Please get in touch if there is anything else you'd like to ask or tell us prior to your visit.

Concessions:
We do not check your right to a concession or name your price ticket. If you feel you can afford the full price please select this ticket. However, concessions prices are there to help anybody attend the show - if you need a lower cost ticket you are in the best position to determine that. No questions asked.

Accessibility:
There is ramped access to the main hall of the Pianodrome. We have an accessible toilet and space for wheelchairs. Most of our performances are relaxed performances. If you have any access requirements please feel free to email us at boxoffice@pianodrome.org.
