About the Artist:
Ruth Hamblin is a Cumbrian singer-songwriter, harpist and multi-instrumentalist, now based in Edinburgh. Her songs travel between different realms, stories and landscapes: a tavern in 17th-century Edinburgh, a traveller lost in the stormswept fells, or the small, secret life of a hedgehog wandering the Cumbrian hedgerows. Her music is rooted in nature, and aims to transport us back to a time gone by, when history and folklore were passed on through song.

She will be joined for part of the set by talented musicians David Winlo and Ezra Briggs with chances for the audience to sing along too.
