Information

Join us at Home Bar on Sunday the 12th of July for a special night of ethereal and experimental indie-folk!

Dovetailed is the new collaborative project of Glasgow musicians Kim Grant (Raveloe) and Simon Liddell (Olympic Swimmers / Frightened Rabbit), weaving together intimate indie-folk songs steeped in atmosphere, texture and quiet emotional weight. Their debut EP 1, released via Lost Map - features four beautifully detailed tracks: Clearing, Kethers Street, Kitchen and Secret Deaths. Layering lo-fi home-demo intimacy with rich arrangements, field recordings and immersive reverb-soaked production, the duo create a soundworld that feels both fragile and expansive. This will be their debut Edinburgh performance and is not to be missed.

Faith Eliott is a songwriter and visual artist. Born in Minneapolis, they moved to Scotland nearly two decades ago. Through storytelling and world-building, they illustrate intuitive landscapes populated by hagfish, Pleistocene volcanoes, cursed memes, and late-Renaissance apocryphal monsters lurking in the aisles of Asda. Sonically, Eliott grounds themself in a stripped-back, lyric-driven songwriting approach that evolves through the recording process to incorporate orchestral elements, often contributed by frequent collaborator Robyn Dawson, along with electronic textures and found sounds.

Quitter a.k.a. Kenny Bates' music combines a singer-songwriter core with a guitar style flavoured by 90s US slacker/dissonant indie. Live solo sets play around with the push-pull dynamics of solo voice and electric guitar, with songs projected over lo-fi looped textures and drum machines.
