NEW for 2026! Catch a hassle-free ride to the Stranraer Oyster Festival with our free, ticketed round-trip shuttle bus service provided by Wigtownshire Community Transport.
While the service is completely free, all passengers must book a ticket in advance for both their outbound and return journeys to guarantee a seat.
Spaces are limited and we expect them to book up, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Service Details:
Cost: Free (you still require a ticket)
Ticketing: You must secure a ticket for both your departure and return times.
Route: Round-trip service to and from the Stranraer Oyster Festival
Stop 1: Stranraer Academy
Stop 2: Lidl
Stop 3: Playpark at Ochtrelure
Stop 4: Queen's Drive Bus Stop (The Boag)
Stop 5: Sheuchan School, Leswalt High Road
Look out for our Festival Shuttle Signage at each stop!
IMPORTANT: We appreciate that plans change. We kindly ask that if you no longer need your seat on the bus, please cancel or contact us so we can offer your seat to the next person on our waiting list. This year, we are trialling this service, so space is limited. We want to ensure that it is fully utilized, and if so we will be able to offer a bigger and better service next year. Please help us with this by ensuring no seats go empty!
