Step back in time to the romance of the Jazz Age at London’s award-winning 1920s-themed party, with live jazz, cabaret and cocktails in a secret venue filled with candles, where everyone dresses the part.
As the party season begins, come and help us celebrate 16 years of the Candlelight Club at our historic south London venue, combining industrial chic with intimate, clandestine glamour.
To get your feet moving there will be live jazz, ragtime and swing music from the RED HOT RHYTHM REVIVAL, making their Candlelight Club debut. And conjuring the anything-goes spirit of the Jazz Age will be international burlesque star MISS JOLIE PAPILLON.
When the band aren’t playing our DJs THE BEE'S KNEES will be spinning vintage vinyl. Presiding over the mayhem will be our cabaret Hostess with the Mostest, EVA VON SCHNIPPISCH, channelling the decadence of 1920s Berlin.
Elsewhere tarot reader Lucius of SPHINX TAROT will be on hand to glimpse into your future and Michelle of from KRAUSZ JEWELLERY will be running her vintage jewellery shop.
You can come just for drinks and dancing, but you can also reserve a table with Champagne, or book the three-course dinner. There’s even an inclusive-drinks option. Ticket-holders receive an email two days before revealing the secret location (which is a stone's throw from a tube station). So pull on your flapper dress and get ready to shimmy…
