Job Summary

The role will work closely with the marketing lead and be responsible for delivering marketing campaigns to increase awareness and increase ticket sales for Citizen Ticket’s client’s events.

This position requires an enthusiastic, dynamic and competitive individual possessing imagination, creativity and an ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Strong copy-writing and IT skills are a must. This role has a specialist focus on the marketing of Citizen Ticket client’s event, but may assist with the marketing of other products as required by the marketing lead.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Deliver strategic marketing campaigns for Citizen Ticket client’s events
  • Deliver professional marketing support to Citizen Ticket clients and account managers, including advice, project management and campaign work within deadline and budget
  • To be the primary point of contact for all Citizen Ticket clients in regards to event marketing.
  • Manage Citizen Ticket Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and overall social media presence
  • Deliver Facebook Advertising & PPC campaigns
  • Create and deliver email marketing campaigns for Citizen Ticket’s clients events
  • Manage Citizen Ticket’s events newsletter
  • Create blog articles for client events
  • Meet with Citizen Ticket’s clients and attend their events to better understand their needs to deliver effective marketing campaigns
  • To manage all event listings for client’s events

Secondary:

  • To work with marketing lead to devise creative, cut-through stories and angles for PR stories and secure coverage
  • To ensure Citizen Ticket identity and brand is adhered to in all marketing materials delivered
  • To ensure that all communications are of a consistently high quality in copy, tone and design
  • To ensure that all copyright issues are checked and adhered to, and that the organisation is not subjected to any legal misrepresentation
  • To stay up to date with the very latest marketing techniques, trends and policies and identify opportunities for Citizen Ticket
  • Ensure good working relationships are built with colleagues throughout the organisation and a thorough understanding of individual business function needs.
  • To undertake any other duties and projects at the request of the marketing lead

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in a creative-events marketing role
  • Proven experience in integrating marketing across different channels in a commercial environment / product set
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Marketing experience working to commercial objectives
  • Excellent project and budget management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Full IT literacy with an understanding of electronic marketing techniques
  • Highly organised with the ability to deal with multiple projects on an on-going basis and meet deadlines
  • An enthusiastic and proactive person who can work on his or her own initiative within a busy tech startup and under pressure of tight deadlines
  • Imagination and creativity
