Children's author Anne Brusatte and palaeontologist Steve Brusatte present My Grandparents Were Dinosaurs, exploring how dinosaurs evolved into today's birds with fossils and Q&A.
Did you know that the sparrow at your bird feeder and the robin perched on your fence are actually dinosaurs? It's true! Join children's author Anne Brusatte and palaeontologist Steve Brusatte with new children's book My Grandparents Were Dinosaurs, which tells the story of how some dinosaurs grew feathers and wings, took to the skies and ultimately survived as today's birds. There will be a hands' on demonstration with real fossils and plenty of time to ask a real palaeontologist any questions about dinosaurs or birds. 5 - 7yrs
