Our festival of national treasures closes with a real gem. Hairy Biker Si King first appeared at the Borders Book Festival in 2018 with his close friend and partner-in-food, the late Dave Myers. Now he has roared up the A68 on his Harley Davidson for a return trip to talk about a life-long love of cookery and his new book, The Best of the Hairy Bikers. With 120 of their best-loved recipes, it celebrates his 30-year friendship and collaboration with Dave, and on this road trip down memory lane, Si will share stories from his life, offering a deeper insight into the man behind the handlebars and the hob. A wonderful, heart-warming end to our festival. Welcome back, Si!
