Tom weaves a warming family tale around the creation of one of Scotland’s leading gastropubs, the Scran & Scallie in Edinburgh’s Stockbridge. Alongside recipes that reimagine Scottish classics such as Cullen skink, cock-a-leekie and ham, egg & chips, are the stories of the people who make the pub so special.
