Information

The River Tweed has many tales to tell – of myth and murder, romance and revenge. Craig Aitchison’s poem, ‘Tweed’, blends Border Scots and English to create a picture of a river which continues to attract visitors, fascinate environmentalists and ecologists and inspire artists and historians. He has blended research and personal observation with stories shared by those whose lives have been shaped by the Tweed, richly illustrated with unique prints made in response to his words. Craig will be joined by artist Georgie Fay and bookmaker Rosemary Everett to talk about the allure of the river and the power of collaboration. Chaired by Genevieve Fay.
