Anthony Vala Saxaphone

Anthony Vala recently completed his second year of study in the BMus programme in TU Dublin, which he began in 2023, studying under Kevin Hanafin and Brendan Doyle. Anthony also has a strong interest in piano, beginning his studies at age 9 under the tutelage of Pádhraic Ó Cuinneagáin.
Anthony has been an active performer since commencing his studies. He performs in a number of ensembles, including the TU Dublin Wind Ensemble where he performs regularly as a soloist, and has played in several masterclasses and concerts as a chamber ensemble, recently performing alongside Concorde Ensemble. With a strong interest in all genres of music, he performs in various classical settings, contemporary music concerts and showcases, freelance and commercial bands, and many more on a regular basis.
