This year, Carole sits down with one of Ireland’s most respected historians, Professor Diarmaid Ferriter, for what promises to be a thought-provoking and wide-ranging discussion.

Professor Ferriter, Chair of Modern Irish History at UCD and a prolific author, has chronicled Ireland’s social and political evolution through books such as The Transformation of Ireland, The Border, and his latest work, The Revelation of Ireland 1995–2020. A familiar voice and face in national media, he brings insight, depth, and a sharp historical lens to today's most pressing questions.
