Step back to May 1764, as King House buzzes with excitement for a grand celebration. Young Robert King returns from Eton to meet his bride-to-be, but as the evening unfolds, old rivalries and family tensions rise beneath the surface of joy.
This immersive theatre experience brings the audience into the heart of the action, moving through the historic rooms of King House alongside the characters. Inspired by real events and created to mark the 30th anniversary of King House’s restoration, Betrothed offers a powerful blend of drama, history, and atmosphere. A truly unforgettable journey into the past.
