Celebrate International Women's Day at Campervan Taproom with the launch of our new beer, Heathland House!
For International Women's Day 2026, we teamed up with the folks at Women's Fund for Scotland and Feisty Gals to brew a brand new collab beer, Heathland House!
Heathland House harks back to the history of Ale Wives, where prior to the Industrial Revolution, almost all beer was brewed at home by women for their families. If more beer than required was brewed, a broom with a garland attached was placed outside the house, to indicate beer was for sale, preventing waste and providing extra income to the family.
To celebrate this rich history, the women of Campervan Brewery have come together and brewed an Extra Special Bitter with New Zealand hops and served on Nitrogen gas, creating a modern twist on a very traditional beer style.
Come and join us at Campervan Taproom on the 8th of March to celebrate International Women's Day, and women in the brewing industry.
Our brew team will be providing tastings of Heathland House, as well as other Campervan classics, and we'll be joined by Women's Fund for Scotland and Feisty Gals, who'll have a stall set up to tell you how their grants change the lives of women all across Scotland. Entry is free, the Taproom is child and dog friendly, and will be open as usual to the public.
