Join northern-based musicians and educators, Joe Allen & Eddie Bowes, for this half-day workshop on Free Improvisation. This ticket includes free entry to a screening of silent horror film Nosferatu in the evening!
Join musician and educators, Joe Allen & Eddie Bowes for this workshop exploring Free Improvisation. We'll begin looking at free improvisation in different forms, improvising as an ensemble and how we can use deep listening to help us engage with our improvisation.
The workshop will be held at The Attic @ Seagull's on Kirkstall Road, Leeds and will run between 11am-3pm with breaks. There will be access to water for refilling bottles and there's a good coffee shop down the road but do bring your own snacks!
Workshop attendees are also invited to join The Storytelling Ensemble for a side-by-side rehearsal after the workshop should you wish to which runs 3pm-6pm and your welcome to drop in and out as need be. Additionally your workshop ticket gets you free entry to the film screening of the classic silent horror film 'Nosferatu' which will be at Seagull's that evening.
We're really excited to be combining our knowledge and practice for this workshop and we look forward to welcoming you to The Attic & to improvising together.
All the best,
Joe & Eddie
