Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) is a community organisation in the city centre of Glasgow. We support mainly asylum seekers and refugees.
Every week our community comes together over lunch on a Friday. We serve up a delicious free meal for everyone who wants to come. Usually the food is vegetarian to accommodate most diets. We operate from a tiny improvised kitchen and our community members take turns making the food, sharing recipes from their cooking traditions. There is always such a buzz in the room when people recognise a dish as theirs: a taste of home that takes them right back to everything they miss about their countries and their families.
We love the food our community members make and that's why we want to bring it to you. We also want to show our chefs that they have talents to share and sew a tiny seed of enterprising spirit.
Come dine with CWIN!
