Come and take a journey back to the 6th Century to the story of one woman’s bravery in the face of adversity. St Abbe both Anglican Abess and noblewoman has to resort to drastic actions when suddenly invaded by Vikings. Alone in The Monastery with a group of her nuns, they struggle to find a way through the terror. This tragedy unfolds through humour and tension to a climatic ending.

Comedy Sketch Writer Elaine A Farmer has written her first play. She has had sketches performed in The Glasgow Comedy Festival and with her troupe, The Fanny McTartans. Elaine has performed in staffrooms and bus stops across Scotland.
