We are thrilled to announce our two preview performances of ‘Sky-Scraping’ before we head up to the Edinburgh Fringe 2025! This new milestone production by The Wistful Company, stars many of the crew from its successful Fringe Debut in 2022 with the addition of some new inspiring talent. Our brand-new production tells a lighthearted and touching story about Jack, a young Cockney lamplighter discovering London based poets from across the ages for the first time.

Jack, arriving on Westminster Bridge before the first gas lamps are lit, watches poetry performed until the sun comes up! He will lead you by the hand from 14th Century London all the way up to the estates, train stations and pavements we are so familiar with today! Come see the city spring to life before your eyes!

Humorous and moving, absurd but pertinent, Sky-Scraping takes all the ponce out of poetry whilst keeping all the heart! Everyone who has ever been to London will take something out of Jack’s experiences. Don’t miss this innovative, engaging and entirely original new art form.

Sky-Scraping will be showing for the first two weeks of the Edinburgh Fringe 2025!
