Peter Kelly is the CEO with the Poverty Alliance. Peter has led Scotland’s anti-poverty network since 2004, establishing impactful campaigns including living wage Scotland, Challenge Poverty Week, and, most recently, Scotland Demands Better. A member of Financial Inclusion Scotland, Peter also contributes to expert advisory groups on suicide prevention, child poverty and the minimum income guarantee.
Rebecca Deegan is Director with Fair by Design. Before joining Fair by Design in December 2024, Rebecca held leadership roles at the Association of British Insurers and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. She also founded social enterprise ‘I have a voice’, supporting young people to engage with democratic processes and pursue careers in policy and public affairs.
Two peer researchers from the ‘Give Me Some Credit’ project will also join the panel.
