Join the Futures Forum on its 20th anniversary for an engaging panel discussion exploring the future of health, focusing on cutting-edge innovations in preventive care and wellbeing. Hear from leading experts as they share insights on how technology, policy, and community-driven approaches are shaping the future of healthcare. This session will offer attendees the opportunity to engage directly with the panellists and explore the implications for Scotland's health landscape.

Chair: Brian Whittle MSP, Director of Scotland’s Futures Forum

Panellists:

 Allison Catalano is a fellow at the Fraser of Allander Institute at the University of Strathclyde. Her work focuses on employment and policy in Scotland. Through her work with the Scottish Health Equity Research Unit (SHERU), she also looks at policy, primary prevention, and the socioeconomic determinants of health inequality.

John Cassidy is the volunteer chair of the Scottish Communities for Health and Wellbeing group, who are an alliance of community led health organisations dedicated to promoting and delivering health improvements and reducing health inequalities in Scotland’s communities.
