Originally from Bury and now based in Manchester, Qasim Akhtar has built a name on the northern circuit with a dry, awkward comic style that thrives on quietly sharp writing and just enough discomfort to keep a room leaning in. An award-winning stand-up already in regular rotation at clubs across Manchester and Liverpool, he's fast becoming a go-to name for promoters after something a little different.
