Join author Jack Jackman for a fun, family-friendly interactive talk about his new book, Maisie vs Antarctica! Enjoy a reading from the book alongside Jack's captivating stories and images from his own adventures working in Antarctica. Then, get hands-on with origami penguin making and test your knowledge in an interactive quiz about surviving the Antarctic extremes!

Jack will be available for a (time-limited) book signing after the event. His book will be available to purchase at the event, during Fringe by the Sea (1-10 August) through Night Owl Books. All ages are welcome. Under 16s must be accompanied by an over 18. This is a seated event (unreserved). The Lodge stage venue is wheelchair accessible.
