Set in early 1990s Glasgow, Nobody's Empire follows Stephen, a music-loving romantic emerging from a long hospital stay with chronic fatigue syndrome. Stripped of his expected life, Stephen finds solace and connection with fellow sufferers, forming their own support system. Discovering a nascent ability to write songs, he glimpses a spiritual life beyond his daily struggles.
