Hear about Invisible Cities' mission to train women who have experienced homelessness in Manchester to become guides and meet women in the city helping us on our mission!
Can you inspire this change? We want more women in Manchester to tell their stories. #invisiblecitieswomen
We want to provide the opportunity to women who want to learn more about our great city and train to work as walking tour guides.
In Manchester, we have three amazing tour guides, Nic, Ste and Andy who have all experienced homelessness and today deliver hard-hitting, amazing tours.
Join us for the launch of our Women Supporting Women in Manchester Campaign.
Through events, special tours and our wonderful network of women in the city, we want to raise money and support to organise a training programme for up to 8 women in 2025 (most likely in October 2025).
The opportunity to become guides will be given to these 8 women, launching brand new tours of the city based on their interests, passions and experiences.
Over breakfast, hear about our plans for this new training programme and hear about one of the social partners we plan on working with to recruit trainees.
Light breakfast and teas/coffees provided.
The event is kindly supported/sponsored by our friends at The Mercure Hotel Manchester Piccadilly and you will hear about how our partnership works and could benefit you too.
Ticket Sales from the event will help us launch the campaign and go towards costs of the training programme.
