NRTF Conference is the UK’s leading event for those working in rural, small-scale, and community touring. This year in Newbury, it's packed with showcases, artist pitches, discussions and networking. See https://nrtf.org.uk for more details
The National Rural Touring Forum (NRTF) Conference is the UK’s leading annual gathering for those working in rural, small-scale, and community touring. It brings together touring schemes, promoters, artists, producers, funders, and cultural organisations for three vibrant days of learning, sharing, showcasing, and connecting.
This years theme, Immersion, celebrates bold, diverse and engaging work that invites audiences into deeper, more meaningful experiences. The programme features live artist showcases, Ballyhoo pitches, panel discussions, open space conversations, and creative networking sessions — all designed to spotlight fresh ideas, amplify diverse voices, and support the development of touring in local and rural communities.
Whether you’re new to rural touring or a long-time champion of it, the NRTF Conference is a chance to be part of the national conversation, strengthen your practice, and meet others who are just as passionate about access to the arts in all corners of the UK. You’ll leave inspired, informed, and more connected than ever.
Member bursaries are available, and we offer flexible booking options to keep the event as accessible and inclusive as possible.
