Improvised music from Ryoko Akama and David Donohoe.
Ryoko Akama’s works are site-specific and consider both aural / visual values as one entity, creating ephemeral situations that magnify undefinable relationships between noise and silence, time and space. growth is her new experiment exploring 'accident, coincidence, fate and destiny' in a form of a sound performance that uses gadget electronics and found objects.
David Donohoe is a composer, recordist, artist, live performer and improviser. His work operates at the intersection of instrumentation, synthesis, field-recording and processing. His performance practice involves scored works, electroacoustic presentation and solo/collaborative improvisation. He is a long-term collaborator of photographer Eamonn Doyle, composing music and sound for his exhibitions, books, and film.
