Veteran journalist Carole Coleman is back for her eighth BAF conversation.

Carole has presented RTÉ’s This Week, Morning Ireland, World Report and Late Debate programmes and currently works on RTÉ radio’s News At One.
Carole has reported extensively for television from the US and elsewhere and shares her expertise with students at University of Galway.

Carole has authored 3 books - most recently News From Under a Coat Stand - a colourful diary on Covid-19 in Ireland in 2020 and first nationwide lockdown. From a local business background, she plays flute with Carrick’s Ensemble 32. She’s married to Larry and they have two typical teenagers

Journalist Eileen Dunne retired last November, after 42 years with RTÉ the National broadcaster.

She began her career as a radio announcer, moving to the Newsroom in 1984 and since then, has worked on major stories like the Good Friday Agreement, the death of Pope John Paul II and subsequent conclave as well as the visit of Queen Elizabeth to Ireland in 2011 and the return state visit of President Michael D. Higgins.

Eileen also presented a radio programme called 'The God Slot' for four years and several programmes and concerts on RTE Lyric FM.
