What lurks behind you in the dark, from unknown alleyways to your own home?
Through Shadows' is a piece that tackles stories of abuse, sexual assault and cyberstalking through a lens of physical theatre and traditional dialogue.
Inspired by a lack of representation in the media, this piece shows these events in chapters through the eyes of multiple individuals, tearing away the concept of the 'perfect victim’. In these chapters performed by our ensemble, you will see these characters through acceptance and denial, and watch as they clear away the shadows and challenge people to find the light.
Part of Break Out Festival 2026, a festival of new performance work created by BA Dance & Drama students at Performing Arts Studio Scotland.
Advisory - Themes of Abuse, Sexual Assault, Death, Strong Language
