Artist Info
Folke is an Edinburgh-based indie folk artist and singer songwriter from Hamburg, Germany. Through introspective, reflective lyrics and "soft but passionate vocals" (Indie Underrated), Folke connects with audiences on a visceral, emotional level. With songs that balance raw emotion with poetic storytelling, her sound has been compared to artists such as Clairo and Norah Jones. Folke has received positive acclaim for her intimate songwriting and connective stage presence, her debut EP 'Everything Worth Having' (2025) being named "one worth listening to" by The Skinny. Her band, made up out of David Winlow (Bass), Alex Polastro (Drums), Ezra Briggs (Violin) and Alice Paine (Cello), compliment her sound with textured arrangements and haunting harmonies.
