About the show:
Come celebrate the end of 'Into the Music’s summer term with a performance by their talented young musicians, who have been developing their creative talents at ItM’s free weekly workshops at St Margaret’s House. This will be an accessible performance and everyone is very welcome.
Into The Music is a unique Edinburgh-based participatory project combining purpose-built string instruments and musical improvisation. Drawing on instrumental inspiration from around the globe, maker Giorgos Bouras has been exploring the infinite possibilities of purpose-built instruments which integrate multiculturalism and accessibility.
In 2025/26, Into the Music was funded by Creative Scotland’s Open Fund to run expressive music sessions for children and young people with additional support needs. ItM are delighted to present some of their workshop participants for this end of project performance in the Pianodrome amphitheatre.
