Join us for a very special Pianodrome debut as acclaimed Paris-based Colombian guitarist Lorenzo Cortés presents an inspiring and interactive Jazz guitar masterclass.
Doors open 30mins prior to event start time.
About:
Internationally recognised for his mastery of the music of jazz pioneer Charlie Christian and as founder of the Swing to Bop project, Lorenzo has become one of the most distinctive voices on the European jazz scene. In this engaging session, he will share his unique approach to guitar playing, exploring the language, technique and spirit of the great swing-era guitarists through live demonstrations, discussion and performance.
Whether you’re a guitarist, jazz enthusiast or simply curious about the art of improvisation, this is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a musician celebrated for his authenticity, virtuosity and deep understanding of jazz tradition.
Bring your guitar and your questions—there may even be a chance to play alongside Lorenzo in an informal jam session.
Warm, welcoming and packed with musical insight, this promises to be an unforgettable afternoon with one of today’s most exciting jazz guitarists.
