A one-off co-headline show in the Granton Pianodrome Warehouse.
From scratchy, electronic beginnings to string laden torch songs and pounding alt rock, Meursault has defied categorisation from the moment the project was conceived in 2008. Despite this, the distinct voice of Neil Pennycook and the unique playing of his collaborators never seem to stray too far from what is always recognisable as the ‘Meursault sound’. Critically acclaimed and a regular fixture on many an ‘end of year list’, Meursault is a live act not to be missed or soon forgotten.
"Meursault are ambassadors of misery, self-loathing, and huge, heart-heavy choruses" - Pitchfork
"The idea of things being ‘clever’ in rock music often arouses suspicion… but Meursault can pull this off without ever seeming self-indulgent" - God is in the Tv
"Meursault have never sounded as triumphant and full of conviction"- The Skinny
"Meursault have often revealed glimpses of a darkness hidden beneath the surface. For every plaintive lilt there is a sudden outbreak of raw, desperate emotion"- GoldFlakePaint
