Nani Porenta presents their flowing and immersive show "Multitudes"
About the artist:
Nani Porenta has built a considerable catalogue of releases over the past few, establishing herself in Scotland's music scene; frequently collaborating with artists like Jacob Alon, Lewis McLaughlin & Katie Gregson-MacLeod. Her previous EPs received airplay on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC 6 Music, with the track "Sunshine" being featured on BBC Introducing's Hot List.
Spending the past two years working on new material, Nani realised she was aiming for a fresh start. This new music features a sound much closer to her heart & with a much more personal feel.
Her newest single, Never Be Alone, is a song written for her baby niece, and in a way, her younger self. It's an ode to hope & softness. Nani says, "The world often drives us into the arms of cynicism, and we need to remind ourselves that there's so much to be hopeful & joyful for. And I want to do better for my niece & for my younger self. " The song itself is very playful, representing her niece's view of the world; written, recorded & produced entirely by Nani.
