Tenement Jazz Band
Edinburgh's own, Tenement Jazz Band breath fresh life to Early jazz, ragtime and blues with an acoustic, dance-friendly sound and easy warmth on stage. Named "Best Band" at the 2022 Scottish Jazz Awards, these five friends share era-authentic repetoire, close-knit ensemble playing, and love of music, all sprinkled with a little light whimsy. After a busy summer touring with swedish saxophonist Nanna Carling, playing festivals around the UK, and honing their new "Jazz for Kids" shows, the TJB are excited to be returning to the newly reopened PianoDrome this November, hoping we see you there.
