Priced at £55, there are a very limited number of passes which will give access to the majority of the programme for free, plus reduced price tickets for our higher priced, some events including workshops and food & drink events. Each audience member must purchase their own individual pass and MUST book each event you wish to attend by selecting the festival pass ticket type on those events. PWYC events should be booked using the £0 tier. T&C’s apply.

In partnership with the Fingal Hotel, don’t miss this lively and intimate event with the award-winning poet and writer Jackie Kay! Join us on board this luxury floating venue for an exclusive festival warm up celebrating the publication of Jackie Kay’s new Selected Poems. Enjoy readings, stories – and a glass of fizz on arrival!

Since her first collection, which won the very first Forward Prize thirty-five years ago, the former Scots Makar has for decades written eloquently about love and the grief which is its obverse. The poems in her new Selected Poems range widely through time and space, and history, but all share the distinct devotional aspect which has always characterised Jackie Kay’s work.

Doors will open at 6:45pm – join us early for a complimentary glass of prosecco before the reading begins at 7:30pm.
