Young double bassist Cameron Saint brings his love of the compositions of Charles Mingus to Scott’s Jazz Club featuring a stellar line up of some of the best on the scene! After falling in love with his music whilst in his first year at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Mingus has played a pivotal role in the shape of Cameron’s career and sound. This led to him kicking off ‘The Mingus Project’ - an ever-changing ensemble dedicated to performing the music of Mingus in a variety of ensembles. Tonight, this stellar quintet features some of Mingus’ more well known tunes as well as some of the more obscure ones!
