The final meeting of the games ecosystem CPG before the 2026 Scottish Parliamentary elections: Level Up: Scotland's Games Action Plan, Education, Industry Layoffs and more...
This is the landmark session we have been working towards.
Following the unanimous cross-party support for the Level Up Scotland Games Action Plan in the Holyrood chamber, the Cross-Party Group (CPG) is convening for a detailed review of the implementation roadmap. This is the final meeting of the CPG before the Scottish Parliament elections in May - making it our most critical window to move the dial from strategic consensus to institutional delivery.
The Ministerial Review
We have formally invited the Cabinet Secretary for Business & Employment, Richard Lochhead MSP, to join us for the promised "line-by-line" review of the Action Plan recommendations. While we are currently finalising the date with the Minister's office and attendance remains subject to final diary confirmation, this session will serve as the definitive scrutiny session for the key recommendations in the Action Plan, including the Chief Games Officer role, the Pilot Investment Fund and Games Enterprise & Sustainability Service.
Add To The Agenda
If you have topics you would like added to the agenda, or questions for the CPG, please submit them here.
Limited Capacity
Due to the strict capacity of the committee rooms within the Scottish Parliament, attendance is strictly limited to 26 people. Online attendance is also supported via a Microsoft Teams link.
Why your attendance matters
This is our opportunity to show the Government that the Games Supercluster vision has the full weight of the industry behind it. We need the room to be filled with the experts who deliver Scotland’s £151,382 GVA per head to ensure our recommendations are adopted and funded.
