Led by James Rogerson, one of our Whisky Specialists, you’ll explore the impact of casks on the Cardhu spirit and savour the flavours created through the maturation process.

Your experience begins with a dram and an introduction to the history of Cardhu before visiting one of our warehouses where we will draw samples directly from our specially selected duty paid casks before returning to our Tasting Kitchen so you can enjoy a true taste of Cardhu!

James is someone who loves Scotch whisky. The taste, the story, the history, and the joy of working in an industry where no two days ever feel the same.
His day-to-day focus in on innovation, single malts and cask maturation, and is part of Diageo’s Whisky Specialist Team based in Menstrie. His days are largely taken up nosing cask sample after cask sample, allowing the creation of new single malt innovations and cask experiments, as well as looking after and maintaining various whiskies within Diageo’s single malt portfolio.
