Discover the ancient craft of whisky barrel making with Balvenie Coopering Ambassador and former head-cooper Ian McDonald. Ian will guide you around our traditional Cooperage and show you a coopers workplace and the necessary tools to look after our numerous whisky casks every day. This experience will take place in the Cooperage on the Dufftown site.
The Cooperage will not be operational, which allows us to access and get close to different equipment in a safe and secure manner.
Please meet at the Balvenie Distillery Visitor Centre.
