From the Caribbean to Speyside - Exploration of Rum Casks

Maltmaster David Stewart pioneered the use of rum casks at both Glenfiddich and The Balvenie Distilleries. In this Festival special masterclass, we will deconstruct our two classic rum cask finishes, Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21 and the Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14, sampling the malts along with the unique Caribbean rums used to season the finishing casks. Please come to Reception on arrival to Glenfiddich Distillery.

During the Festival we will have an exclusive Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2026 bottling available to purchase in the Glenfiddich Gift Shop.
