Step into an unforgettable day of flavour, folklore, and fresh air with this truly special Spirit of Speyside adventure!

Meeting in the centre of Aberlour you will be taken to the start point by private coach. We’ll enjoy the first of a selection of outstanding drams and then set off on a scenic walk along the banks of the stunning River Spey, soaking up breath-taking views while enjoying a relaxed, mostly flat 7.5-mile route with plenty of stops to rest, sip, and savour the moment. All food and refreshments are included, so you can simply enjoy the journey.

Along the way, you’ll be treated to whiskies from five mystery distilleries, each dram adding a little intrigue and excitement to the day. The atmosphere will be brought to life by music from the official Larkfire Piper, providing a stirring soundtrack as we wander through this iconic landscape.

You’ll also be joined by special guest hosts, who will share their stories, insights, and whisky wisdom at various points along the route—making every stop as engaging as it is enjoyable.

The perfect finale awaits: a relaxed BBQ by the river, with more live piping, more drams, and plenty of time to unwind, chat, and celebrate a fantastic day outdoors. Transport back to the original pick-up point will be available at 6pm.

Expect great company, incredible scenery, unforgettable whiskies, and a day you’ll be talking about long after the last dram is poured. Cheers to that!

This is an outdoor walking event, so you must be confident that a walk of this length is suitable for you, appropriate walking shoes or boots are essential, as well as clothing for Scotland in the Springtime. Please also note that special dietary requirements must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance of the event.
