Step back in time to 1975, for an intimate evening of distillery tales and a very special tasting.
It was the same year Jaws terrified cinemagoers and Muhammad Ali retained his world title (not once, but twice).
We’ll welcome you with a Speyburn Highball, followed by a guided tour of the distillery. Then we’ll gather in the tasting room for your chance to try the first three of the evening’s drams. It’s hungry work, so we’ll have something to eat too.
Along the way, you’ll hear first-hand from today’s team, including Distillery Manager Euan Henderson and Master Blender Sarah Burgess. And from colleagues who were here 50 years ago, with stories of their own to share.
It all leads to one moment: tasting the fourth dram of the night: Speyburn’s oldest ever bottling, the 50-Year-Old 1975.
Refund Policy: No refund.
Getting here: Public transport is available to Rothes, stopping at Glen Grant Distillery, which is just a short walk from us. Please check the Stagecoach website for the timetable and details of the 36 service. We recommend booking taxis in advance.
