Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of whisky-making with an exclusive journey that celebrates the art of distillation and maturation. Your experience begins with a warm welcome, an introduction to our family legacy and the pivotal events that shaped The Glenlivet story setting the tone for what lies ahead.
Step back in time as you walk in the footsteps of our founder, George Smith, and enter the iconic ‘Minmore’ still house. Here, the gentle hum of copper stills and the sweet, malty fragrance of spirit in the making surround you, offering a glimpse into the artistry that has defined The Glenlivet for generations.
Next, venture into one of our oldest, traditional dunnage warehouses - a cool, earthy enclave where time works its magic. The air is rich with the deep, mellow scents of oak casks and matured whisky. Moving on to Warehouse 1 (educational warehouse), enjoy a dram drawn straight from the cask, its warm, golden liquid carrying notes of honeyed fruit and subtle spice present an unforgettable moment.
Your journey culminates in the refined comfort of a private tasting room. Here, you indulge in a hand-selected flight of The Glenlivet expressions, each sip revealing layers of complexity and character. Among them, a rare gem from our Archive - a whisky of exceptional depth and elegance - awaits to leave a lasting impression.
This is more than a tour; it’s a voyage through heritage, craftsmanship, and the soul of The Glenlivet.
