Information

Starting at our charming Tides Edge Cottage, in the old fishing village of Findhorn, Edward will take you on a search for the iconic and awe-inspiring Osprey – a fish eagle that returned to the skies of Speyside in 1950s, having been absent in the UK for many years.

During your walk, Edward, a former BBC Natural History Producer, will share his passion and enthusiasm for wildlife, especially birds. Along the way, he’ll point out Speyside’s coastal flora and fauna, an array of sea birds and waders, seals and possibly dolphins, but more importantly, he hopes to spot an Osprey hunting in and around Findhorn Bay!

And what’s a walk without a dram? Edward’s Aceo whisky company will be releasing a new OSPREY whisky brand, inspired by the iconic bird and you will be amongst the first to sample our 10- and 15-year-old OSPREY single malt.

After your seaside stroll and search for Ospreys, you’ll return to Tides Edge Cottage for relaxing farewell drams from Edward’s Murray McDavid brand. With Spring in the air, there’s no better time to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Speyside's coastal nature.

Offering: Four of Edward's specially selected drams (4 x 2cl)

If required, please pre-order ‘Driver's Drams’ before the event.

An on-site shop selling Murray McDavid whiskies, including their 2026 Spirit of Speyside Festival Bottling.
