Where Land Meets Sea. Memory Meets Possibility. Where We Can Reflect, Imagine, and Create.

The shoreline holds stories of arrival and departure, of belonging and becoming. It reminds us that while change is constant - so is connection.

Through Shorelines, we'll explore this dynamic space together - using creativity to express who we are, where we've been, and where we're going. From workshops and public events to creative commissions and community collaborations, the programme is shaped by the voices and visions of local people.

Visit community artist Maya Rose Edwards to learn more about the history of the waterfront engagement project and what's next.  Following on from the successful oyster shell voting station in 2024, Maya is returning to speak about the outcome of your votes and the next steps Harbourland - the new piece of Stranraer.  

Get involved with some activities and learn more about the material seabed of Loch Ryan and the possibilities of how this material might be used in interesting ways as part of the waterfront development.
