Join us for a peaceful morning stroll around Kirriemuir with local bird enthusiast, Jonathan Pattullo.
Prepare to be amazed by the array of birdsong as we tune into one of nature’s most amazing spectacles. Find out what to look for and how to identify your feathered friends through their calls.
Starting from the Scout Hall, we will walk past the factory, along the commonty, through the Den, finishing at the top of Lochmill with the option for you to return via the Glengate or retrace your steps back through the Den.
Your Guide
Jonathan started birdwatching many years ago on a school visit to Loch of Kinnordy. His love of wildlife and the outdoors never left. He confesses
“Over the years it's become a bit of an obsession! What I find fascinating about birds are the vast array of sizes and the myriad of colours they come in, and you never know what you might find with a little knowledge and patience".
